The Wayland farmhouse
8 Pemberton in Wayland, a Victorian we took from tired to finished: a slate-floored entry under a stained-glass pendant, a kitchen with a black pantry wall, a white island with a wine fridge, and a banquette, a living room with columns and beams and a wood bookcase arch, a black-and-brass primary bath with a marble walk-in shower, a navy powder room over hex tile. Every room decided, then staged in-house and offered privately, off-market.
Small house, same standard
11 Wilshire Dr in Sharon is 1,753 square feet and got the same design attention as a house twice its size: brass and quartz in the kitchen, arched bookcases flanking a painted-brick fireplace, board-and-batten on the long wall, velvet headboards, backlit mirrors. It sold at full asking. Good design does not scale with square footage; it scales with decisions.
What it looks like finished
52 Condor Rd in Sharon is our own renovation, designed the way we'd design a client's: a primary suite with a stone fireplace, a bath with a freestanding tub under a bubble chandelier, lit mirrors over a double vanity, a rain shower with a pebble floor, and a kitchen with a waterfall island. It sold in one weekend for $48,500 over asking, which is the only design review that counts.

What does an interior designer cost in the Boston area?
We charge a fixed design fee per room or per project, quoted after a consultation, plus the cost of the furnishings themselves. Consultations are a flat rate.
Do you do e-design or virtual interior design?
Yes, for clients outside our service area or who want a plan they can execute themselves. You get a layout, a shopping list, and a mood board.
Can you design a room I'm about to renovate?
That's our favorite kind. We handle layout, finishes, fixtures, and coordination with your contractor.
